RD on Modern Signal site video transcript

In this video, I’ll show you how responsive design is utilized on our website, ModernSignal.com. 

Here on the Modern Signal home page at full screen size on a laptop, you see that we have a two column layout. Also notice the location and style of the top navigation ..  I’ll slowly decrease the size of the browser window, simulating how the site will adjust to display on various tablet and mobile devices.  Notice how the top navigation repositions itself appropriately for the width of the screen. The two columns also collapse into one.  Here’s how the site would look on a tablet. By the time I decrease the screen size to that of a smart phone, the navigation has a completely different, mobile-friendly interface.

As I increase the width of the screen again, keep an eye on the yellow “Shining a Light” header.   The font size automatically adjusts for optimal display on all devices.
