JBG Corporate Site
Challenges:
- Create a robust site that reflects JBG’s style, elegance and breadth.
- Allow JBG to showcase its extensive and impressive list of properties – both existing and new development – in an effective and unique way.
- Create a site that allows JBG to communicate to the general public and to an elite group of private stakeholders.
- Streamline human resources processes such as job postings and applications.
- Enable frequent and timely communications through email campaigns.
- Give JBG staff the autonomy to update their own content without required knowledge of HTML.
Solutions:
- Planned, designed, programmed, and launched an extensive web site featuring JBG corporate information and its catalog of properties.
- Developed an attractive Flash-based interactive map of the tri-state area where users can click on a state, county and even street level to view JBG’s holdings in that area.
- Implemented a robust content management system to allow JBG staff to update and add content, including text, graphics, and file downloads.
- Built a back end tool to allow JBG to update property information at any time, even logos, pictures and maps.
- Developed a ‘Contact Us’ submission management tool where JBG staff is able to view the questions and requests submitted by site visitors.
- Developed a tool for JBG staff to post available employment opportunities while allowing site visitors to apply for those jobs online.
- Created a tool that allows JBG to create, format and distribute e-mail newsletters and target each email campaign to a particular recipient list.
- Created a document distribution system where JBG can upload documents to share with those who have intranet access.
