Challenges:

• Develop the definitive online directory of physical therapy clinics in the United States.
• Position the site to be a trusted resource for medical information, featuring the latest in health-related headlines.

Solutions:

• Planned, designed and implemented a robust and attractive website that allows users to search for clinics by zip, state, city and/or keyword right from the home page.
• Integrated a news feed to allow the latest articles from Web MD to be featured on the homepage.
• Set up a registration system that allows clinics to add a basic listing for free and an extended listing for a fee. Payments are handled through secure, real-time credit card transactions.
• Clinics with paid listings are assigned a unique login that they can use to later update their clinic’s profile and upload images. A WYSIWYG editor is utilized to help clinics format their profile without required knowledge of HTML.
• Created a backend tool that streamlines the process of viewing, searching and adding clinic information for site administrators.
