CLPHA
Client: Council of Large Public Housing Authorities (CLPHA) - www.clpha.org
Challenges:
- The CLPHA website was a first-generation website that through the years had grown cluttered with content. Information was hard to find and the look-and-feel of the site had suffered from the growth.
- CLPHA's website was often out of date because making updates was too cumbersome.
- The CLPHA site needed to address the general public, as well as present content appropriate for members-only.
- Site redesign required 508 compliance.
Solutions:
- Developed a beautiful and functional design that organizes CLPHA's extensive library of resources in a logical and user-friendly manner, while abiding by the 508 accessibility standards.
- Implemented the Site Editor CMS tool to allow CLPHA staff to update existing content, and add new sub-sections and pages, all on their own.
- Built a members database that was tied into a login system for the website. This allowed members to log in and view member-exclusive content, including searching for other members, and viewing and updating their profile information.
